Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and their Hamburg congregation knew they could not go back. Ashley was just 17, and she had never been married before. They took the relationship extremely slowly. They fell in love instantly. Andrew prayed to God during New Year's Day just prior to the start of 2016. He demanded God to grant him one last blessing this year, which was that Ashley decide to marry him and that she would be married. Ashley was looking for a rustic themed wedding with a folk theme that really represented her and Andrew. They incorporated their favourite things for the wedding. Ashley was born on 40 acres. Ashley enjoyed playing and exploring all the land, including the paths they had taken in order to reach it. Andrew, Ashley and their companions had already explored this area several times when they started to get together. Being that the wedding was largely homemade, personalization played a big role. Andrew and Ashley's father designed the ceremony arch and the seating arrangements, and Ashley was in charge of painting and making decorations. Ashley states that we could not have had the magical wedding that I imagined it wasn't for Anna's floral designs. Truly breathtaking.
